Penn National, the operator of Pennsylvania’s Hollywood Casino has recently signed two new groundbreaking deals that are expected to bring the launch of its much-anticipated online gaming offering even closer. Supposing everything goes as planned, residents of the Commonwealth will be able to access legal and regulated online gaming products before the end of the first quarter of next year or as soon as the company can get the technology up and running – the latter will certainly not be a problem especially because of the resources that the company has amassed over the time it has been around. 4p1m5o

Leveraging IGT’s Experience in More Than 100 Countries 603l1e

One of the two partnership deals that Penn National has inked is a five-year agreement with IGT. The deal will see IGT’s PlayDigital Division provide a full suite of digital gaming products among other services to the operator. This will include IGT’s portfolio of games as well as its PlayCommand platform.

Among the games that players at HollywoodCasino.com will get to enjoy are Cleopatra, Ocean Magic, Elephant King, and Elephant King. In addition to these, Penn National also plans to eventually deploy IGT’s renowned PlayPoker and PlayBingo online solutions.

“We’re excited to leverage IGT’s platform and content for our online gaming launch in Pennsylvania. The flexibility and reliability of the PlayCommand platform, coupled with the proven game library within IGT’s PlayCasino, give us confidence that HollywoodCasino.com will deliver the same caliber of world-class gaming entertainment that our players have come to love in our land-based casinos,” said Chris Sheffield, the managing director of Penn Interactive Ventures and Sr. vice president of Penn National Gaming.

Unfortunately, there has not been news about whether mobile gaming is on the table but this will hopefully play out in favor of mobile gaming fans since when Penn National Gaming applied for a sports betting license in Pennsylvania, there was talk that mobile betting was a huge a consideration.

Taking It A Notch Higher with NetEnt 1o55g

As if the massive five-year deal with IGT was not enough, Penn National Gaming has also recently signed a huge supply deal with digital casino solutions provider, NetEnt. As per the of this deal, NetEnt will be responsible for distributing the operator’s titles to the Keystone State’s newly regulated online gambling market.

“This deal marks NetEnt’s first customer g for Pennsylvania and is an important step in our growth strategy in North America. I look forward to our collaboration with Penn National and believe that our entertaining online games will be much appreciated by players in Pennsylvania,” Erik Nyman, NetEnt’s managing director commented.

All these preparations are perhaps indications that Penn National’s Hollywood Casino is about ready to take the leap with all of its plans for the Pennsylvanian gambling market. Both partnerships will serve alongside a more tradition sportsbook partnership that the casino signed with William Hill. The sportsbook project has been moving along quite well – in fact, it could launch as early as next month.
