Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment’s Parx Casino is without a doubt one of the most successful gaming operations in the Keystone State. The casino’s popularity has only continued to rocket with the launch of online gambling and it seems it has now grown big enough to comfortably branch out to other states. Sports bettors in New Jersey are now able to enjoy the casino operator’s amazing online sports betting offering.

As it stands, New Jersey currently boasts of being the host of one of the country’s largest and most lucrative gambling markets. Sports betting, since it was legalized in the state, has also been performing very well in the state. In fact, nearly all of the licensed casino operators in New Jersey have both retail and digital sports betting operations. Parx Casino will be ing 16 other online sports betting operations that are currently serving the residents of the state.

Revenue-wise the Garden State now even goes toe to toe with Nevada which was the only state where sports betting was legal before PASPA was abolished. In August, for instance, sports bettors placed a whopping $293 million in wagers. This represents a 13 percent increase from that amount that was recorded a year ago. This alone is enough proof that the industry is headed in the right direction and operators such as Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment have good reason to be interested in it.

Powered by GAN and Kambi 1r463g

Parx Casino’s online sportsbook will be operated in partnership with GAN and Kambi, two leading gaming solution providers. GAN’s and Parx Casino’s partnership officially came into being in July 2018 while the partnership with Kambi was inked back in January when the gambling operator launched its retail sportsbook in Pennsylvania.

New Jersey will, therefore, be benefiting from the experience that they have acquired in the Keystone State’s very competitive market. This does not mean that New Jersey is an easy target. In fact, the state already has great sportsbooks and therefore Parx Casino will definitely need to bring its A game.

According to Dermot Smurfit, the chief executive officer of GAN, the move to extend their operation to New Jersey was logical especially considering how established that market is despite the fact that it is still growing. Well, there is no better time than now for that.

“This represents an incremental revenue opportunity for GAN and is a logical extension of our technology infrastructure to serve Parx Casino patrons who routinely cross the invisible border between these two populous states,” Smurfit added.

Just like in Pennsylvania, Parx Casino’s sportsbook will have a mobile presence in the Garden State. This will allow the sports bettors to earn reward points that can be later transferred to the operator’s retail sports betting facilities.
