Pennsylvania Posts Record Gaming Revenue for Second Consecutive Month 151j3t

In April, Pennsylvania’s gaming sector set a new high for revenue, with $461.6 million received from gamblers closely matching the previous record set in March. The good and rising statistics come from a handful of factors, according to PGCB Director of Communications Doug Harbach. 203y14

Pennsylvania’s online casinos and poker rooms outpaced New Jersey’s in April. During the month, New Jersey pulled in $138 million, second only to Pennsylvania’s record of $142.7 million in a single month. Online casinos and poker rooms surged by 30.8 percent from $105.5 million to $308.7 million in April 2021.

On $4.2 billion in wagers, Pennsylvania online casino games made $135.1 million. Online slots brought in $101.5 million, while online table games brought in $33.4 million The remaining $2.9 million was generated through poker. With $1.8 million in revenue, PokerStars was the most profitable poker operator.
